The
Deer Farm Zoo an unforgettable experience with some of nature's most
graceful creatures...Walk Among Them!! You do more than jest pet the deer
at the Deer Farm you're invited to walk among these delicate and graceful
creatures. You're going to love our unique barnyard environment nestled in
a beautiful 140 acre foothills setting.
You're invited
to get up close and personal with Rocky Mountain Elk, hug a baby goat, rub
a camel, pet zebra and zonkies, stroke an Emu, kiss a kangaroo, and
scratch Vietnamese Pot bellied pigs. You'll also be able to pet AMHA
mini-horses, as well as their big counter part, the draft horse (as in
Budweiser)! Reindeer, mini-donkies, wild sheep, exotic cattle and more
await you and your treats!
We are
confident you and your family will have a ball here! Make sure to bring
your CAMERA! You're candid photos snapped here at the Deer Farm will be
the very best taken during your entire trip to the Smokies!
Our facility
routinely tests for the few animal diseases which can be transmitted to
humans. Our animals are regularly veterinary checked for their benefit, as
well as yours. It is our goal to prevent illness before it starts so you
will find very healthy animals here. We have a full time zookeeper staff
who maintain a clean and healthy facility for all involved and hand
washing facilities are available.
Fawn & Elk
Calves are born Mid-May thru July a real treat to see! Please remind Dad
that antlers are growin' April thru August - full rack September thru
March he'll be thrilled to see them.
